Rotterdam Central District

One of the main construction sites in Rotterdam is the Rotterdam Central Station project. Apart from a new station a new public transport terminal is being built. Around the new terminal a complete new area will be developed with the name Rotterdam Central District.

Free tours on the construction site are organized every 1st Saturday of the month from 10.00 - 15.00 hrs.

New Office for Municipal Authority

The Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA/Rem Koolhaas), in collaboration with Werner Sobek and engineers ABT won the competition for a new municipal office to be constructed behind the current City Hall in the city center. The building will also accommodate appartments & a garage.
