Over 200 photographs by Swiss photographer René Burri. The retrospective primarily displays vintage prints and personal documents and gives an insight into the diversity of subjects that Burri has managed to capture on camera over the past fifty years. The exibitions includes photographs of Che Guevara, Winston Churchill, Alberto Giacometti and Pablo Picasso.

North Sea Jazz Around Town
The city prepares herself for the jazz event of the year: the North Sea Jazz Festival. As many as 150 (mainly free) concerts are planned at various locations in the city. Several other jazz related activities such masterclasses, jazzcruise and exhibitions are being organized.
