The exhibition comprises paintings, drawings and sculptures by dozens of artists including Paul Cézanne, Pierre Bonnard, Kees van Dongen, Raoul Dufy, George Braque, Picabia, Alberto Giacometti, Willem de Kooning, Elsworth Kelly and Frank Stella. With over one hundred works and additional pieces by Old Masters such as Claude Monet and Vincent van Gogh as well as great innovators including Pablo Picasso, Piet Mondriaan, Yves Klein and Lucian Freud, ‘Avant-Gardes' provides a highly comprehensive overview of the developments in the history of Western art.

The Bach Orchestra of The Netherlands perform works of Bach, Handel and Schubert but also a hit like "Somewhere over the Rainbow and music from Sister Act. Of course the evening will end with a performance of "Land of Hope and Glory.
