Museum Park & Rose Garden
Situated between Kunsthal and Museum Boijmans van Beuningen is the Museum Park. The park was designed in 1927 by architect Witteveen and connects 6 museums. From the park you can enter the rose garden and enjoy the garden view on Museum Boijmans.

Historic garden Schoonoord
The history of the garden goes back to 1706. The current park is designed in 1860 by Jan David Zocher.

Arboretum Trompenburg
Green oasis in suburb Kralingen. The origin of the garden is in 1820. You will find trees and shrubs form around the world and the national reference collection of oad, beech, privet, dwarf conifers, holly and rhododendron. Thousands of perennials, including the national collection and Rodgersia Hosta, plants, bulbs and succlents. All plants in the garden have a nameplate bearing the family and the species name and place of origin.

Public Transport: Tram 21 towards De Esch, station Woudenstein. Walk back towards soccerstadium Excelsior Woudestein. On the left (below dike) you will find the entrance.
The park originates from 1852 but at that time was only half the size. Only in 1875 it became the park it is now. The parkdesigner is Zocher (also Vondelpark – Amsterdam). In the park are a number of characteristic buildings: The Orangerie, Stables and Koetshuis (1870) are in the middle of the park. The Harbour Club (fish restaurant) building originates from 1913. Just outside the park, opposite of Erasmus Medical Center you find the NorwegianChurch (Sjømannskirken, 1914). The church was a gift from Norway to the city of Rotterdam. In the park a statue of poet Hendrik Tollens and on the South side near the river the statue of the late Queen Wilhelmina.

Kralingse Plas & Bos
Located in the suburb Kralingen is the Kralingse Plas (lake) that is surrounded by the Kralingse Bos (forest). The lake finds it's origin in the late 19th century where the forest was designed in the early 20th century. On the East side of the lake you will find the so-called Lake Mills, The Lily (1740) and The Star (from 1886). The park is mainly used for recreational purposes such as various watersports, skating, cyling and jogging. It is an excellent spot for a nice and relaxed walk or a picknick in Summer time. A number of restaurants are located on the lake shores.

Leuvehoofd Park
On the North shore of the Maas river the Leuvehoofd Park is a excellent place to chill and escape from the busy city. From the park you will have one of the best views on the Erasmusbridge and the new highrise developments on Wilhelminapier.
