Alarm - On the 1st Monday of every month the national alarmsystems are being tested at 12.00 hrs/noon.
Cash machines (ATM)- A number of cashmachines are available in the city center. Stadhuisplein, Beurstraverse (mall), Coolsingel (ABN/AMRO building) and Central Station are most centrally located.
Internet - Wireless hotspots are available at a number of places including Rotterdam Airport and Rotterdam Central Station.
Smoking is not allowed in public buildings nor in bars, clubs and restaurants.
