Street parking:

Ticketmachines are available on the street. Note on the streets there are no cashmachines available however a number of machines accept major credit cards. The creditcard sign will be shown on top of the ticketmachine.

There are a number of special parking spaces available for disabled visitors. In order to park there you need to show your disabled parking badge under the frontscreen of your car. The special parking places are marked with wheelchair signes.

Indoor parking:

A number of indoor parking facilities are available in Rotterdam. You can reach them by following the parking route signs (P-route) on the roads into the city center.

We would advise you to park in the following facilities: Erasmusbridge (navigation Willemsplein 2), Boompjes (navigation Terwenakker 18), Sint Jacobsplaats (navigation Binnenrotte 15) or Schouwburgplein (navigation Schouwburgplein).

On the South shore nearby Erasmusbridge, Kop van Zuid, Luxor Theatre & Cruise Terminal is Q-Park Maastoren. (navigation Wilhelminapier 5, public transport tram 20, 23, 25 into city center or just....walk over the bridge)

Indoor parking ticketmachines accept cash and major creditcards

Park + Ride facility (P+R):

Free parking facility outside the city center. P+R facilities Kralingse Zoom and Capelse Brug can easily be reached from highway A16 (both exit 26, follow signs). From here the subway Calandlijn will take you into the city center (get off at Churchillplein / Beurs). Disposable chipcards can be bought at the RET servicedesk in the subwaystations.

Another visitor friendly P+R facility is available near the Feyenoord Stadium. From highway A16, exit 24 (Feyenoord) you will find the facility on your left hand side. Trams go directly into the city center (passing Erasmusbridge).
NOTE that during events in the stadium this facility is not available.

There are a number of special touringcar parking facilities available in Rotterdam.

Museumpark (1 at museum Boijmans van Beuningen)
Nieuwemarkt (1 at Nationaal Onderwijsmuseum)
Parkhaven (5 at Euromast)
Schiedamsedijk (1 at hotel Inntel)
Willemsplein (17 at Spido)
Blaak (1 at Maritime Museum)
Mariniershof (1 at Savoy hotel)

At Coolsingel touringcars can stop in front of the city hall to get passengers off or get them on. Parking is not allowed at this location.

We suggest to use the Willemsplein facility which is next to Erasmusbridge and Spido Harbour cruises. From this location it is a nice walk into the citycenter or to the nearby Scheepvaartkwartier, one of the historic parts of Rotterdam.

→tip: On Sundays parking is partly free at Euromast and the Scheepvaartkwartier area which is close to the city center and quite some attractions. When you navigate to Parklaan you will enjoy this free parking option. Note that this area can be closed off due to festivals or events. Always double check the parking machines before parking.
