by car: the windmill area of Kinderdijk can be reached via the A15, exit 22 (Alblasserdam, Kinderdijk). There are signs showing the way to the parking spaces. The windmill area is easily reached by bicycle, for instance by taking the ferry from Krimpen aan de Lek.
by bus: regular bus services from Rotterdam-Zuidplein bus & subway station (Erasmuslijn) stop at Kinderdijk.
